Pumsavanam(a ritual for changing sex),seemantham(a ritual done before child birth), garbhadana(consummation),war ,cutting of hair,taking medicine first time,journey and marriage - these things should not be done in one's birth star.This means they should not be done on a day when moon is the birth star of the person.But in case of a girl,marriage can be done in her birth star.
